musically, yeah.

when you were buzzing off your face in a sweatbox dancing along with similarly fucked-up people then they were magic. the music soundtracked that, so it's not surprising that people hold it in high regard. if someone likes the Happy Mondays but wasn't part of the UK scene back then, they're false fans.
