Makeout Videotape - Ying Yang is underrated -
Future Boy, Island Groovies, Gone Gone Gone, etc are some of his best songs.

how did he not experiement with it? Lot of sounds on there he hasn't used before...Moonlight on the River, Sister/Watching Him Fade Away sound very different than his other music.

I thought it was the perfect amount of branching out from his old sound while retaining the charm of it.

Perhaps I should have said he should have experimented MORE. Sister and Watching him Fade Away has some fantastic synths. Moonlight on the River is decent. I dig the Mac Demarco + Pink Floyd vibe it has going.

Overall the album is decent. But most of This Old Dog still retains the basic song structure he's always been using.
