Where do I start with David Sylvian?

bump, I'd also like to know.
I thought The Tin Drum was brilliant but I've heard bad things about earlier Japan albums, and don't have a clue about his solo stuff

The first Japan album is shit, even as a curiosity.

The second one has a couple decent songs on it. The (last) instrumental track is the best.

Everything after Obscure Alternatives up to Tin Drum (including the non-album singles) is ace.
