When it comes to early :

-OR-
>Turn on the Bright Lights

EDIT: When it comes to garage/post-punk revival acts of the early 2000s, which do you prefer?
Is This It, my favorite album of all time
>>73306639
i'm going to say is this it because I only started listening to turn on the bright lights about a year ago
this is a pretty tough question though, I consider both of them to be top-tier accessible albums
Is this it?
>>73306639
TOTBL, Is This It just didn't stand the the test of time. I listened to both extensivly for about a year after they were released. I still listen to TOBTL. Strokes never.
same here TOTBL is still playing on friday nights with whiskey and cigarettes
OP here, I'm privvy to TotBL myself...but wouldn't you say that ITI has more varied tracks? TotBL all kind of bleeds together

Is this It for me
They're both classic that will be remembered for a long long time, but Is This It was really special. It pretty much single-handedly started a movement in the music scene that lead to all the mid-2000s alt/indie rock that we know and love

Both are literally my favourite albums
In the context of Interpol's other albums TOTBL shines through, ITI gets buried in The Strokes' discography with angles and room on fire
>>73308901
Just because ITI was followed by another classic doesn't take anything away from it. I tend to view ROF as an extension of ITI

The opposite is true, check ya ears mate

>EDIT:
what did he mean by this?
>>73306639
TOTBL by miles, but strokes made better music afterwards
>>73306714
me also

Is this it, Strokes
Interpol for being a better band, Strokes for that one-hit album
