What does it mean?

Even though they're cheesy as fuck they're one of the better contemporary prog bands. Or at least were before Portnoy left.

They were my favourite band for about two years in high school. Found much better stuff through some of the associated artists in the genre. From time to time I'll still listen to Images and Words, Awake and ACOS. Everything after that has become a bit of a chore to listen to. They're really technical I can give them that. James can fuck right off though.
