The example there looks like bullshit, but in general for people with high scribble rates they just constantly have background music on and don't actually pay attention to it.

That's over 6 days of music in a 7 day period, of course it's bullshit. Also keep in mind last.fm is notoriously inaccurate. Could be a lot of double scrobbles or something. But more likely than not he just left music playing constantly without actually listening to much of it
