Pink Floyd is a band that was great because of the sum of it's parts.

That's why all their solo efforts are so sub par. Gilmour makes Clapton tier music for truckers. Waters just wallows in edgy self indulgence. Wright did too much Cocaine. And Mason is too busy collecting vintage cars.
