Not very good really
I.used to like this band and used to be quite apologetic for them but I've recently realised it's just kinda shit

Took that one song green day did and made it a whole band, angsty bullshit riding on the coat tails of the alternative explosion of the 2000s, utter utter emoshit.

Laughable

this is the definition of just passable 2000s rock

In the Top 10 pop punk albums (only counting 90s and onward) and it was an okay band striking gold as nothing else they did was as good. Would recommend to a pop punk fan. Probably won't change the minds of anyone who doesn't like the genre.

Their image defined them. Everyone knew them as this emo ensemble whose merchandise populated Hot Topic, but if you'd never seen what they looked like and put on this album, you'd think it was just alt rock/pop punk. The album doesn't sound emo in the slightest, it's full of high energy songs with some moody shit sprinkled here and there.
That being said, I don't think they'd have gotten as big as they were at their peak if not for the image. If it was the exact same music but everyone wore jeans & t-shirts, I don't think they'd have been as popular.
