Would you buy every physical format/digital release or would you still pirate?
Why not just dl everything and support the ones you like? That way you can enjoy all art available and reinforce the ones you enjoy the most. That way you can directly tell the artist, "I want more of this" or "this is not very good".

Think of it this way, you could either spend about $120 to get all the main Beatles albums on digital, or you spend $0 on the digital albums, buy the new Sgt.Peppers remix on vinyl, and have dinner. Which one sounds better?
Why study when you can just cheat?

>Not pirating as much as possible and curating a record collection from what you most enjoyed out of the pirated stuff
now this is what i call pleb.
You all realize you can legally preview 95% of new releases right? You can probably preview for free at least 60% of all music in existence. If you toss in a record store that will open albums you can bump it to 99% of new releases and 70% of all music. Pirating for preview is not a valid reason.
