What does /mu/ think of Panopticon? Or, more specifically, this album?

Wow I was just shown this a few hours ago
I like Roads to the North more. The intro track on Autumn Eternal is sweet though.
Kentucky got me into black metal and Roads to the North was my first vinyl. Really great fucking band, last three albums have been killer, and Autumn Eternal has a chill vibe that i can sink into. Sleep to the Sound of waves crashing and the following song are fucking superb man

It's fucking great Anon. Whoever showed you this did great.

I prefer Roads to the North and Kentucky. Autumn general lacks those folky bluegrass interludes it just pours buckets of atmoshit over your head without a breather.
Might give it another chance though because, like i said, 2 former albums were great
Roads to the North is GOAT

Is black metal the perfect genre to fuse with anything? I feel you could really mix it with anything and make it work somehow
>>73269381
Folk especially. BM has a lot of it's imagery rooted in pagan, folk or medieval ideas. It's good with ambient styles, noise and other subgenres of metal
Couldn't imagine jazz black metal though
>>73268930
good one
