4-5/10 of my favorite songs are Beach Boys songs. I'm not sure if Good Vibrations is number one, but it's close
they repeat the chorus too many times
>>73260730
>bad edit
>no stereo mix
>artistic vision compromised for commercial reasons
the verses, yes
chorus is godawful
>>73261223
It only repeats three times. That's an average song pop

I guess it's contrarian hour. I at least understand someone not like the chorus, but to say the editing is bad or that they were compromising their artistic vision is just incorrect.

No I mean there is literally the bad/clumsy edit in the first verse
>that they were compromising their artistic vision is just incorrect.
Look it up. They scrapped the original lyric by Asher about telepathy because it was too obtuse, so Mike Love wrote more commercial lyrics so it'd be a hit.

>Prove me wrong
>oh you must be a contrarian if you try to prove me wrong
Stop
faggot shit, literally any other song by them is better

What's the bad edit? Also they dropped Asher's lyrics because they didn't fit the finished version of the song as well. They were worried that the lyrics would actually prevent radio play.

I'm not OP. I was just saying that the reasoning seemed stupid. But I'm curious about the edit

Nah, I just wasn't made for these times is a better song.
>Better than most fela kuti songs
>Better than enjoy the silence
>Better than god only knows
