Public Castration Is A Good Idea is best pre-revival Swans IMO. Perfectly captures the intensity, depravity, and darkness of early Swans. This is a clip from that tour in '86 that pretty much made me fall in love with Swans

Holy Money, Soundtracks For The Blind, and The Glowing Man (maybe The Seer as well) all occupy the same rank in my heart. In my opinion, they are dissimilar to a degree that renders any critical comparison pointless.

The Great Annihilator is just a little more consistently enjoyable to me, but I think Soundtracks for the Blind is their masterpiece for its unique tone (easily the darkest Swans album even if it's not nearly as loud or conventionally disturbing as their early-mid 80s material, the noises and spoken samples elevate it to a level of darkness more natural and dark than the sometimes overblown "RAPE BURN SMASH" type stuff on Cop and Greed), its sheer scope and variety, and its original status as their (literal) swansong. The absolute best and most atmospheric moments on this album blow almost everything else away.
