Depends on your speaker set up,and whether or not you want to hear how it sounded in 1966 or if it want some more recent version which some songs sound better in stereo.

Dont Talk sounds much better in stereo than mono, but sloop john b is just as good in mono

literally doesn't matter. the whole beach boys/beatles stereo/mono thing is completely overblown by idiots who don't know what they're talking about

why do people like the mono version better? stereo feels less cluttered. like the bicycle bell in 'you still believe in me' for example, the mono version sounds so shrill and piercing. but it sounds great in stereo

I mean love stereo and think their later stuff sounds better in stereo, but imo most albums originally made for mono sound better that way. Especially Pet Sounds.
