Old Petty is really good. Comeback 90's Petty is pretty alright too. I honestly am not aware of any new work he might have put out in the last fifteen years or so.

He's basically the 70's version of the Foo Fighters. Start and stop listening to him at his Greatest Hits album because his studio albums are at a minimum 50% filler.
Wildflowers Petty is actually pretty good. Breaking away from Jeff Lynne at that point in time was the right choice.
