It really depends though. I would also say MBP strictly because Logic Pro is my favorite DAW, but I'm on my fucking THIRD MacBook because they're so unreliable.

Then it's really up to you, MBP's are fine for most other DAW's. Make sure it's at least a quad-core, and research the absolute shit out of the exact model you're looking at. If there's a known issue with that series, just assume it'll happen to yours too.
