I went from the shure to an audio technica 120e. Feels a lot less muddy than the shure. Eq wise it sounds like its got good amount of low end and top end with the mids reduced a bit, which suits me fine. Great tracker too!

I bought it cheap used from someone else, claiming it only had 50 hours of playback usage, the stylus came in bent, so in the end I spent more money in it, ever since buying a new stylus replacement

Get the ATML440b before it sells out completely, since it's being replaced by a newer, more expensive model
