Both of them were okay and then became fucking cancer, but looking exclusively at their good material, I'd say Green Day's good album (Kerplunk and Dookie) edge out The Offspring's good albums (Ignition and Smash) but a little bit.

Green Day's quality varies more album-to-album, Offspring's does more song-to-song. That being said, I like Offspring at their best more than Green Day at their best, and I think they've aged better.

Pizzacore is a derogatory term used for the kind of pop punk bands that got big in the late 90s and early 00s, named after the sort of pizza party vibe they normally go for. Bands like Enema-era Blink-182, HHOP and AKNF-era Sum 41, New Found Glory, etc.

I liked Greenday better when I was younger, but I think Offsprings music has held up better over time.
