Even if the other tracks aren't as good as the ones I've listed, you can still appreciate his lyricism in all of them. Even the bonus tracks are decent. Overall the album is definitely more enjoyable if you're already a fan.

Wtf? This is one of his lyrically worst album. And not just from the fact he's trying to act political. But his delivery is god awful and boring compared to SSLP - TES.
Only way I could defend this album is that it has some really good instrumentals. But that's about it.

Relapse is probably the best of those albums, but it's way too bloated for me to consider it worth listening to today

I know Eminem's albums are generally over an hour, but Relapse's tracklist doesn't sit right with me.

Tracks like My Mom, Medicine Ball, Stay Awake, Must Be The Ganja, and ESPECIALLY Beautiful could all lose at least a minute in length to me. The record is very hook-heavy, which also doesn't sit right with me cause I don't dig many of the hooks. It has this very catchy, somewhat mainstream-oriented sound that just doesn't feel right dragging on in most songs. Dre's production is also felt much weaker than albums like The Chronic 2001.

It definitely has some of his strongest lyricism though. I don't hate Relapse, but for me it doesn't compare to albums like The Eminem Show or The Marshall Mathers LP.
