That was one of the first listens I had.
I liked it, but I didn't love it.

I feel like if it was a little shorter/more diverse I would've liked it a little bit more but I still enjoyed it.

Hit me in the feels a bit hard since I'm still getting over someone.

In context to when it came out though and being a concept album and all that, I think it's objectively great.

Currents is one of my top 3 albums to be honest.
Which is why I re-listened to it again, lol.
I'm assuming you probably don't mind listening to the radio now & then, at least compared to probably the rest of /mu/.
I feel like anything I could suggest you've probably heard but hey, you never know.

It's the only solo album of his I've listened to tbqh

That being said, while I only mildly liked it the first time, I find I enjoy it more and more each time I revisit it.

Nearly every song is catchy and at least good.
A couple of great songs sprinkled in as well.

While I wouldn't ever imagine it becoming one of my favorites, it is a solid album and definitely worth a listen if you like 80's music.

It's somewhat kitsch in the typical 80's way, however somehow it works to the albums charm.
