I've got some windfall money wise and I'm looking to finally ditch my ear cups for in ear phones. Been checking the guides and Etymotic looks pretty good, but I've heard some wild contrast between the ER4P-Ts and the ER4Ss, and I'm starting to worry about durability issues. Can any long term audiophiles either set me up with links to their favorite phones or if you think there's a better brand, show me to 'em? Peace
why are you going for in ear? basically an oxymoron for audiophile, in-ear headphones. legitimate question

I'm just personally tired of having the cups on my head all the time. I mean, I COULD get cups again, but I just never seem to have a place to set them comfortably in public (Crowded work table, uncomfortable around neck).

I love mine, and I love music and good sound!
I have no first-hand experience but people are shilling heavily for these online.
just be sure to keep the volume low if you want to hear any music past the age of 45
