If you think that's good, you should hear the soniclovenoize mix which actually makes the album into something closer to what the 1968 release would've been.

I love all the versions I've heard, but the way different motifs play in his mix really opens the album up for me.

what you have to understand here is that brian wilson in 2004 was not in the same headspace as in 1966-67 and to think that he could somehow "complete" that album is a mistake. it's the revisioning of it filtered through his band and himself as someone over four decades later in life. fan mixes are attempts at capturing some semblance of what the original might have been.
