I used to hate this album for some reason. The race against Curtis(and ultimately winning) put Kanye on the fucking map. He was different, trendsetting, and fucking good at it. Final album before people say that Ye got crazy; came out before his mom's untimely death

Ye carried this. Lift off is the gayest song of all time, Jay-Z lazied it up on most of the tracks, but shit still bangs. Necessary for the time because only mixtapes were really popping in 2011.

Not enough love. Solid production, shit maybe one of his best. Lonely, different Ye and served as the prequel to what we would get from MBDTF. Introduced us to Cudi who would have a hand at the now dead, emo rap of 2007-2011. Gave Drake and Travis Scott their entire career, because they just copied everything Ye did on this album.

Peak-Crazy Ye, probably would've been one of his best albums if he didn't take so fucking long to make it, didn't decide to change the name 8000 times, actually had a direction for it, and didn't have 19 songs/dumbass skits to pad it out.

Really fucking bad. Put over the worst artists of G O O D music and he wasted one of the tracks on Cudi humming.
