What is the best Daft Punk album?
Human After All need not apply
Alive 1997, it's not even close.
There's an argument that HAA is in fact their best from the perspective that it is a legitimate concept album and a protest album. The intentionally abrasive and repetitive structure is reinforced by the theme. Their other albums, while perhaps more appealing or joyful are lacking in message or theme and are therefore superficial pop. It's an interesting argument. You have to decide what you value most in music: the pure sonic pleasure or the artist's intent.

By all means, it's better than RAM, and it's more punk than almost any other electronic album out there.

yeah. most of RAM is pop anyway

I agree that HAA is better than RAM but RAM is still amazing to me. Especially Instant Crush and Contact.
How did we get this fucking contrarian? Good Lord. Sounding bad and being lazy on purpose does not good music make.
Also Discovery even though RAM's weakest moments are still far better than Very Disco's.

Starboy and I Feel It Coming would suggest otherwise. Gust of Wind, even more so.

Human After All is my favorite album. I like all what they did, even the Tron Legacy one.
