What is /mu/'s opinion on Depressive Black Metal?
Funny you shoudl mention Trist, he just started communicating with his fans if you want toa sk him anything. He mentioned that his inspiration is completely drained and he's been on his deepest depression streak since 2014. poor fellow.

Its pretty solid.
I'm seeing Xasthur tonight on his acoustic tour thing, kinda excited, but I'm not expecting a whole lot.
It takes an individual with a lot of intelligents to understand DSBM
Probably my favorite genre for cold winters when I'm usually alone in my room. But it's hard to enjoy bands like Xasthur or Silencer when it's hot and sunny outside.
Favorite albums are:
Striborg - Embittered Darkness and Autumnal Melancholy
Trancelike Void - Destroying Something Beautiful
Forgotten Tomb - Springtime Depression
Wigrid - die Asche eines Lebens
Leviathan - Tenth Sublevel of Suicide
Any other albums like this?

I don't find this to be the case at all, but I first started listening to the genre one summer so I have a sort of nostalgic connection to listening to it in the heat, plus I live in phoenix so it's hot and sunny year round
