John Fahey
Personal preferences will be what they are, but I think for the meeting of expressivity and technical proficiency there are no greater examples than Andres Segovia and Naricos Yepes.

My boy
i want to listen to classical guitar playing, or whatever kind of name it is for the people everyone is posting, where do i start? i've listened to one flamenco album that's the closest i get to anything like it. is there a chart i should look towards?
I don't like a lot of the guitarists considered the bests besides Fahey.
Often, it feels like they're unnecessarily complex and have very poor compositional skills. Nick Drake is the oopposite in my eyes, he could create an incredible song with only 3 fingerings.
