I'm a giant Floyd fan so I figured I'd probably like it but I had no idea I'd like it this much. His best solo album IMO. The last 3 songs are especially great, though I don't like how it ends. But that's just cause I personally don't like albums that dont have that "ending note" or whatever you'd call it. This just kinda trails off. Seeing him at the Tacoma Dome on the 24th. I'm ready.

Not sure why, but I cried my eyes out listening to The Last Refugee.
Love the way he points out how everyone, whites, blacks, gays... are all the same in their greed and indiference towards the suffering of others.
Was worried it'd be just an anti-trump liberal shit fest, but it's really centrist in it's message.

Boring. It's just 70s/Final Cut Pink Floyd sound with new lyrics. There's nothing new to offer. And we're talking about the self-proclamed "Genius" of the band.

If I wanted to listen something that sounds like Animals or The Final Cut I would go to listen to those albums.

Easily the album of 2017.

Quite easily his best solo album too (with Amused to Death coming close behind).

For me this is the AOTY so far. Classic Waters style but still feels fresh. Really well written songs too.

You may not like it but do you appreciate it? That's the equivalent of saying you don't like sad endings so you count off for that. "Yeah the Bicycle Thief was good but it had a sad ending so 8/10"
