i just cannot get past alt j's horrendous vocals. it seems like they toned them down a bit on this album which is nice, but i still can't stand the guy's voice. it makes me irrationally angry.

the music on this album is definitely better and more creative than their previous shit, but the singing is just too fucking bad to warrant another listen.

looking at the album cover and the music videos for this, i thought they were gonna take a vaporwave approach with this album, but unfortunately, it seems like they just copped the visual style.

Haven't listenned to this yet, but I'm glad someone else out there dislikes his voice this much. Depite the fact that there were things I liked about An Awesome Wave, his voice just KILLED it for me
