The number of REM threads has really jumped up over the past couple weeks. Is there some reason they're being rediscovered or is it just a handful of kids here all in an REM phase currently?
Reckoning > Fables of the Reconstruction > Chronic Town > Murmur
>>73136313
normies started listening
>>73136313
Hey, post-LRP gave us Automatic for the People and New Adventures in Hi-Fi. I'm not complaining.

Indie Rock Revival( this time its with Gen z fed up with millennial pussy shit)
WEEEEEEEEEEE WAAAAAAAAAAALK THROUGH THE WOOOOOOODS
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALK
DID WE MISS ANYTHING
>>73136313
It didn't. Automatic is easily one of their finest, and even after New Adventures in Hi-Fi they put out some strong (if inconsistent) stuff.
It's impressive that they were as good as they were for as long as they were.
OOOOOOOOOOOOHHH WE WERE LITTLE BOYS
UP THE STAIRS TO THE LANDING, UP THE STAIRS INTO THE HALL

What's the deal with everybody loving Reckoning? I didn't really get into the first songs, but I love Murmur. I tried Reckoning because Stephen Malkmus of Pavement loves it and They're one of my favorite bands
>>73141243
I prefer Dead Letter Office to Reckoning, personally
>>73141243
Because Harborcoat to Pretty Persuasion is straight fire. And then there's also
DON'T GO BACK TO ROCKVIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLEEE

Brighten the Corners is my favorite Pavement album.
>>73136313
>he still thinks LRP is a highlight
>>73138589
actually fables > murmur > reckoning >> chronic town
>>73141941
I would actually respect your ranking if you didn't put a power gap between Reckoning and Chronic Town.
THE AMBER WAVES OF GOLDEN GRAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN
>>73141931
It's a Beautiful album Indeed my boy, have you heard the b sides? Incredible songs there
>>73141991
