I put this on and was like, "Okay, lets see what music in 2017 is like." My daughter really liked the intro. She is 2. She was feeling it. Waving her hands in the air all emotional. Then the hard part kicked in and she didn't know what to do but I think she still liked it. That was the part dad liked. First thought about that riff was that it sounds a lot like the main riff in Vaseline by STP. I like the bends, hammer-ons and pull-offs going back and forth between the chords but feel it is very typical to rock out like that; at least for me because that's how my style is. So all in all not a bad song. I'm glad there is still some rock out there.

It sounds like a typical bland, unoffensive Foo Fighters song. I really want Dave to stop being a pussy and make a hardcore punk album or something else that would be really unexpected. The Foo Fighters are already so incredibly rich and famous they could put out an album of avant-garde noise and they would still sellout football stadiums so there's nothing stopping Dave from doing something weird.
