Name a better album
>you cant
>>73106930
ok fine i wont
>>73106930
literally any other album in Bowie's discography
even Tonight
>>73106930
>not even Bowie's best

>thinly veiled bowie recommendation thread
Station to Station.
>>73106930
It's one of my top 5 Bowie albums but it's not his best.
His best is Diamond Dogs or Heathen.
>>73106930
Bowie's 60 material > His 90's stuff(except for maybe Earthling)
>>73107118
>pin ups
I don't understand why it's so hated.
>>73106930
I haven't listened to this yet, and I'm a very big Bowie fan.
Is it worth it /mu/ ???
>>73106971
>even tonight
Why do people pretend Tonight is bad, much less in the lower half of his discography? The covers are 10x better than Pop's versions and the main single is one of his best tracks in general.

BELIEVING THE STRANGEST THINGS
LOVING THE ALIEN

This
Bowie's never released a truly bad album
Even Never Let Me Down had some redeeming qualities
I sure as Hell don't know what they are but there's probably one or two there
These are, in my opinion, the only Bowie albums with 0 bad tracks. Station to Station and Ziggy Stardust are also good.

black cock white boy
>>73109157
What bad tracks are on Station to Station?
>>73106930
Didn't even have to think about it
>>73109157
>no ziggy stardust
IM AN ALIGAITORRRRR IM A MAMA PAPA COMING FOR YOUUUU
>I look into your eyes and I know you won't kill me
>You won't kill me
>You won't kill me
>But I look into your eyes
>And I wonder sometimes
But seriously, You've Been Around, Jump They Say and Nite Flights are jams; it's just maybe 20min too long
Is the world ready to accept that Tonight and Never Let Me Down weren't all that bad?
The title track of Tonight is the kind of song you get a girl to fuck on the first date to, and Never Me Let Down is better than 90% of new wave as a whole and contains some really good lyrics if you listen properly. Never got the hate for those two albums.
At least its not the Laughing Gnome

never let me down is the only good song on never let me down, it sounds like a john lennon song.
Bowies worst and most forgetable album was hours.
Its the most generic thing i ever heard and that is shocking for such a creative guy like bowie.
Although there was one song that sort of had a 90's r&b vibe for a bit, and it made me wonder what would have happened if bowie had made a neosoul album.
Loving the alien is also a very good song, but the production turns people away beaus of how 80's it is.
I like the lyrics and sometimes you are just in an 80's mood

how about you find out for yourself, being a very big bowie fan? wtf?
later years bowie is hit or miss, sometimes he would make something really great like Earthling, it has this 90's electronica and industrial vibe. If you are in the mood for the 90's

The great thing about bowie is all his albums are like time capsuals in a way, he really was a chameleon that could just envelope a trend.
Even on black star he got a jazz band and girl loves me sounds like a rap song
