Not if it's harder to get a job in the city. Some people have multiple responsibilities like taking care of a farm, helping the family around because there is literally no one else around, etc. Finding roommates can be difficult too if someone is unfamiliar with a city or place.

Get some KZ earphones, they are super cheap and really very good, they've lasted me for 6 months now which is much better than most of my earphones

I grew up far out in the countryside as well, all my child-teenage years I wanted to move to a city. I eventually did, felt exciting and cool the first year then I started thinking "the fuck am I actually doing here, this place doesn't make me happy, it just stresses me out", now I'm back home in the bush.

I've realized that it's common to think "this place fucking blows" but in reality it's not so much the place but our mentalities, I think we're trying to run away from ourselves too much.

I've been feeling so much better once I dropped my cares about carrier, "doing something with my life", life itself is extraordinary enough, you don't have to run on the razor's edge.
