I think they're pretty good, I love their sound and they're pretty creative. Meg White is eh but that's okay.

They're not a bad band by any means but the fact that they're held to the level of sacristy they are and viewed as "the" rock band of the 2000s is evidence of how dead rock is.

They're kinda fun to hate because Jack White is such a massive knob, but honestly they recorded some pretty good tunes. Pleb shit or not, Seven Nation Army will always and forever be a jam.
