Though I do agree that this album is one of their weakest. The micro-tonal tuning does give it a different sound. The shitty factor of this album is the repeated formula of most of the songs. Other releases by this band are set quite a few bars higher.

I think it's not that the album is bad, it's that this album isn't too good, and some people are trying to pass it off as slightly more than good. So people saw an opportunity to voice their annoyance at the fact that this album is worse than their last, and also got to annoy some people at the same time.
