Yeah look into all of Yellow Magic Orchestra obviously. The title track of that album is amazing btw. Tong Pou and Rydeen are stellar tracks of theirs.
As for other artists I recommend Susumu Hirasawa and his earlier P-Model days

Telex, Yello, Bruce Haack, Cluster, Japan, Ippu-Do, Yukihiro Takahashi and The Beatniks
besides YMO you might also want to check what sakamoto and his bandmates were producing for themselves and for other acts, for example Hosono's work for Manabe Chiemi.

>Garson
First heard him through TAZ and fuck, what a talent.
I don't really have anything to contribute, I just wanna say everyone should listen to Mort Garson

A lot of good things mentioned in this thread already.
Definitely check out Sakamoto and Hosono's work both in and outside of YMO. Takahashi is good too, but he's kind of the Bryan Ferry of the group, he kept making albums that used the same formula (with success) but it gets boring after a while. Sakamoto and Hosono never really made the same album twice.
Not exactly what OP has asked, but other good stuff (related to YMO in one way or another): Urban Dance, Saeko Suzuki, Testpattern, Ichiko Hashimoto, Chakra, Miharu Koshi, Logic System.
