Great, although an underappreciated band. They made 6 classic albums in the span of just 3 years. Not only that, but they were one of the pioneers of the style and one of the best to ever do it. What's not to like?

The collection that was in virtually everyone's house , is engraved in my head

>be John Fogerty
>have a vision of being one of the true greats and have a plan to accomplish that
>partner up with your brother and some friends, they're pretty good musicians
>set them up for massive success and through great songwriting and god tier vocals ascend to the upper echelon of bands
>idiot bandmates think they can do their own thing, get mad when you want to keep them on the right track
>your own brother walks out on you
>say fuck it, if they want to destroy the band with their retarded ideas they can
>their genius creates the single greatest blunder in music history, Mardi Gras
>laugh at them as I walk out the door
pretty good band
