He reminds me of myself, so I'd say Death Grips.
classic showtunes
they make it pretty clear in the movie and the novel, OP
Probably something really gay

You are now desiring Clockwork Orange where the film is soundtracked entirely by Death Grips

I'm sure Kubrick would've loved them if he was alive during their upcoming. We can only hope for Lynch to do a movie with them composing the soundtrack for now.

Seriously - one of the coolest music video ideas ever.

Would anyone be interested in actually seeing this, though? I have just enough free time and self loathing to make it
Reminder that one of Alex DeLarge's defining characteristics is the contrast between his love of musical harmony and pleasant melodies vs. his personal habits of robbing, raping, and generally sewing discord and chaos wherever he goes.
He literally beats an old homeless man nearly to death for being drunk and singing out-of-key.
Somehow I think making Alex a fan of a discordant band fronted by a homeless guy who shouts out of key would undermine a central point of the film and also make Alex a lot less interesting as a character.
This movie is for fucking teenagers
