I'm torn between the good son and murder ballads but I still have a few more albums to listen to

OP here, I should mention I think Tender Prey is his best.

Is all the love for the Good Son here primarily because of Scaruffi, or do people just legitemately prefer that album? Don't get me wrong it's a great one, but I think he has some better stuff.
