How do you manage your music backlog?
If you mean how I sort my music collection, I just go
Music
[Artists]
[Year Released - Album]
or if they have aliases I do
Music
[Person]
[Alias]
[Date - Album]
I GAV E UP ON MUSIC DOWNLOADS NOW I UJUST STREAM
>>73030020
Back it up to anything I can, have physical list of it too
>>73030064
I mean music you plan on checking out at some point.
You don't just download everything you see on /mu/ do you?
>>73030064
What about if they have a split album and compilations
>>73030107
For compilations I tag the Album Artist as Various Artists and tag each song's Artist with the artist. It all goes in the same Various Artists folder.
Splits are where it gets messy. I was thinking of moving them all to a Splits folder.
>>73030103
Oh no. Stuff in my backlog I just download, and keep the artist folder open to remind me.
>>73030138
Yeah splits are a pain , I have mine in a separate folder just thrown in there .
>>73030020
Why would you have a backlog in text? Then it's just a list of movies you want to watch. Make a watch list on letterboxd or something.
A backlog would be movies you have downloaded but haven't watched yet, in which case, put them into a folder labeled "backlog"?

Shoot, thought I was on /tv/. The perils of mobileposting
Point still stands. Fuck you OP
i don't write my backlog down because then it's an autistic game of "i didn't finish enough movies/film/videogames/albums this week i can't believe i fucked up so hard" and it seeps the fun out of everything for me.
I have a .txt file that I write down the album of a band I want/need to check out.
My list is pretty short now
