electronic music used to be a niche, especially in america, it was a cool underground counter culture, the 90's were the peak of quality for dance music.
Then somewhere around like 2012, capitalism rebranded electronic music into EDM", watered it down, and then marketed it to frat boy dude bros and instagram sluts.
Right now dance music is the most popular its been since disco, and electronic music is the most popular its been in america in ever.
It also sounds like complete shit now
