Not really. She's so far gone out of her way to be circumspect about the details. Again, take this with a VERY large grain of salt. I make no claims about being completely right on this (since I have no insider sources - everything I've said here is based on open-source information.) However, that's how it seems to have gone down me.

No. That part is entirely false. Even at the infamous Barclays show, she played most of a full set, if well ahead of schedule (she started at least a good 40 minutes earlier than expected iirc - some of the venue staff remarked about it to me in surprise at the time since I had just asked them minutes before what the official set times were, and they had told me that I had plenty of time to grab refreshments.)

Something else you won't have heard about that night (at least I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.) Shortly before her set started and before I had left to grab a drink, the venue had an unusually large number of beefy looking security guards (at least 8 guys I believe) out front of the stage staring down the audience. It barely registered with me at the time. But in retrospect it was a pretty good indicator (along with her early set start time) that something was right that night.

Fwiw Grimes STILL managed to put on a great show (ticket was worth every dollar I paid) up until the very last minute she was out there. Despite what even she might say on the matter, Grimes is an incredibly talented live performer.
