Sgt Pepper

I'm disappointed it doesn't have "Carnival of Light" released yet, but one step at a time I suppose.

Is it honestly worth listening to? I'm scared it's just going to be Paul and John jerking each other off
Pepper, clearly.
There's far too much overlap on the Pet Sounds 50th with previous reissues. If you already have The Pet Sounds Sessions, you have everything on the 50th anniversary except for the previously unreleased live material and the hardcover book.
With Pepper you get a brand new stereo and 5.1 mix of the entire album, a brand new transfer of the original mono mix (which you would normally have to buy either as a mono vinyl or in the Beatles in Mono CD collection), two discs of outtakes that have largely gone unbootlegged and a book.
pet sounds is still the better album but sgt. pepper's has a much much MUCH superior reissue. the new stereo mix imo increases the quality of the album immensely, now its much more neck and neck with pet sounds. songs like within you, without you are shit tier on the mono/old stereo mixes but now its like one of the best songs on the entire album

The Pet Sounds remaster was absolute dogshit, and I seldom ever say that about teamsters.

what does this even mean?
fuckhead.
Pet Sounds production wasn't dog shit so a remaster is kidna moot
