Also albeit a great album, it's a time capsule from one of the worst eras of hip hop and symbolized the underground hip hop scene in Brooklyn in the late 90s, much like the era Pro Era releases did for the early 10s. The scene fizzled out very quickly in the face of more advanced mainstream movements.
