paramore is only good because hayley's voice is hot the instrumentals are shit and super basic and the songwriting kinda sucks too

I like the album a lot. I'm glad they made the transition from pop punk to pop rock with their last two albums; it's worked very well.

I thought their self titled was great. One of my all time favorites. This one is decent but not as good in my opinion

So we just gonna not talk about Hayley looking haggard from drugs or what?

Josh Farro is an underrated guitarist. His guitar work has always been a high point of Paramore. Shame his solo work has been lacklustre although I haven't really followed it. No disrespect to Taylor. He is a great player too.

Zac's band Halfnoise released a really good post-rock debut album. Really impressed with that considering he played and sang everything himself.

There's a pretty significant crossover between "emo pop" and pop punk. Some of their most popular songs were definitely in the punk category, e.g. Misery Business, crushcrushcrush., Ignorance. Even most of their emo tracks could be called pop punk, like Pressure.

It's their second best after self titled. Overall, it's a great album with many highlights: Hard Times, Rose-Colored Boy, I Told You So, Pool, Grudges, Idle Worship, Fake Happy, Caught in the Middle. I love it.
