ITT: GUILTY PLEASURES
I'M GONNA PICK UP THE PIECES
AND BUILD A LEGO HOUSE
I liked plus
Multiply had me worried
Divide made me disown him
I have tons of these.
Swifty is my guilty pleasure
https://youtu.be/d2smz_1L2_0
I can't be the only one
>>72992373
I know hating ed sheeran is the in thing right now, and kinda justifiably so, but I still maintain that plus was a pretty solid album
It's the only project of his I've listened to tho so whatever
>>72992564
that album made me go nuts (and bolts)
>>72992564
her career exploded with that album
>>72992564
not a guilty pleasure for me. Tay and Ari are great.
>>72992504
I used to like it but came back to it a couple of weeks ago and I didn't at all. Secret was the only decent song.
>>72992504
Its a really good album,
>>72992504
Oh man, I used to listen to this religiously when I was 10 or 11. Maybe I should give it another listen and see how it holds up
i dont like any of their other stuff or alternative rock in general
love this album
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1G6qRQYu0U
>>72992708
Is that their frist album? Their first album is good.
Along with any other overproduced, goofy ass djent like Veil of Maya or The Contortionist
White Zombie and K-Pop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB-RcX5DS5A
>>72992733
i guess it's their second album
I just like this one so I don't know much about them
>>72992358
there were a few good tunes back in the day, but by the time he hit +, he was mostly striking out
the only song I liked on X was I See Fire but that's because I'm a huge LotR fan
last album was shit but at least Castle on the Hill is tolerable
>>72992744
I love progressive metal(yeah yeah I know) but god did I find them so annoying
I know it's not really progressive, but a lot of friends of mine whose also love prog like them
I don't know, I should like djent but I find it really boring
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qv5Fq_4SwwI
The Offspring
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iyx3u15i2KM
>>72992841
That's why it's a guilty pleasure genre for me. I just find it really fun to listen to, but I acknowledge that the production is overly clean and rigid, and there are a LOT of recycled ideas/riffs
>>72992744
I love overproduced metal too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29jSyfRR_-Y
>>72992358
yes, seriously
>>72993116
whats wrong with that? I have loved that album for years.
He's put out some contractually obligated shit recently, but he's still awesome. Fucking love his instrumental work (under different names): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1riwqJClUg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5C93JWj8k_s
>>72993149
People always react weirdly when they find out I enjoy Marilyn Manson.
>>72993116
nothing to be guilty about. this, on the other hand...
Why do you faggot cunts have guilty pleasures? My favourite pop artist is probably Britney Spears and I have no shame in saying that. She has over dozens of hits that still get played to this very day.
>>72993203
that's because Max Martin is a god
>>72993250
He certainly is.
>>72992358
SHE PLAYED A FIDDLE IN AN IRISH BAND
>>72993165
fuck them. like what you want friend.
>>72992970
Good taste. It was the 2016 Pop AOTY.
>>72993179
i dont see a problem here. me and a friend play most of the songs when we jam together lol
>>72993337
This. Based reply.
>>72993203
Because when I say I unironically like Hollywood Undead, people (who like equally as shit music) call me a faggot
>>72993116
I'm listening to this album for the first time right now. It's not bad. It's not The Downward Spiral clone I was hoping for, but I'm liking it way more than I thought I would.
>>72994538
The reflecting God is awesome.
The used
>>72994080
Anything after "Swan Songs" is good with me.
I've always had a soft spot for overproduced normie house, like the shit they play in Hollister or Abercrombie. It's mindless but has some chill vibes, nice for passive listening. Currently bumping some Robin Schulz
>>72992564
She's a very talented singer and has a unique voice that I love.
Shame she's an apex thot and her music is absurdly soulless and bland.
>>72992787
I raise you: Ghost Stories is their best album by a fair margin
https://youtu.be/v_ussII-Szs
For me, it's ABBA
>>72992358
Most Green Day honestly. from 21st Century Breakdown and before.
>>72994746
but thats The Blue Album 2.0
>>72992373
this is exactly how i feel about ed sheeran lol
Sublime is pretty good
I like listening to sad pop-punk music. I've been listening to Mayday Parade recently.
Led Zeppelin, just because it's so goddamn good. I think it's unfair to categorize them as 'dadrock', regardless of their youtube comment stigma.
Give pic related a try, and tell me you don't find it invigorating to hear a fresh, improvised take on all those classic songs.
Will we ever have another artist like him again? F
https://youtu.be/WYT46diog-s
>>72992358
this is my guilty pleasure
>>72992787
Why is the UK such a shitty degenerate slum?
>>72992875
>implying this isn't patrician af
>>72992358
But let's be real I'm not THAT guilty about it desu
>>72992564
She really nailed it with that album.
>>72993179
Good album made questionable by bad production IMO. Nothing to feel really guilty about.
>>72995286
I fucking love Abba, I'm not even ashamed to admit it.
>>72995776
Lack of Christianity
>>72996356
WATCH OUT FOR MY BODY ROLLS!
>>72992504
I still have this cd in my car. It's been about a year since I last listened but I could probably still sing along with every song.
>>72992744
Same, but Periphery and Meshuggah are the only djent bands I find myself going back to recently. Juggernaut doesn't really hold up with the rest of their discography for me though.
>""""guilty""""
I don't like their new stuff though, and don't want to associate my taste with that.
>>72996733
Forgot my link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7K0blr2IruA
>>72995552
No need to be ashamed, it's a /mu/ classic.
Limp Bizkit
>>72996801
whoosh
https://youtu.be/U7G6b8KazLI
It's not as hard to admit I like it as their chiptune music but still.
Not even a Paramore fan but this caught me completly off-guard, really enjoy their new style
>>72993156
Wouldn't expect to find Adam Young on here. I liked some of his older electronica tracks in the day, but I really enjoy is scores. Apollo and The Endurance are some of my favorites from him.
i grew out of pop puink emo music almost all together. But i listened to this recently and i really enjoyed it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tg24k7tzIc0
I won't lie.
Interpol
>>72995474
all 3 cds are patrish
I don't know what the general consensus of this album is but I absolutely love it. Haven't listened to anything they've released after it yet
>>72993090
this tbqh
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzb75m8NuMQ
>>72992358
Can't help it. Mighty good vocals.
Bodies
>>72997368
Why guilty though? It's genuinely good despite melonhead meme
>>72993320
>mfw that song was playing when i did my grocery shopping today
>>72992358
fatboy slim
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bHhpufKRjs Always jam to it when it comes on in GTA
>>72994881
Pretty~ much. Kicking Deuce out was the best thing they did
Shameless "guilty" pleasure right here.
Probably Frankie Cosmos, but I fucking love her. How stupid for a pathetic beta cuck to get charmed by a bullshit cute artsy girl like I am a walking cliche.
>>72996520
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEOyePhElr4
and if nothing else Dua Lipa is hot as fuck
>>72999522
she is p ugly with short hair senpai
I occasionaly like to give this a listen in the car during the summer.
>>73000586
This one too.
>>72998961
a cliche that exists only on 4chan
don't worry you're probably fine
>>72992358
Ed sheeran
Taylor swift
>>72994746
but this is actually good
>>72992744
It pains my heart that you can describe Veil of Maya as goofy and overproduced. You are absolutely correct. They used to be my favorite band, the first 2 albums had horrible vocals and terrible production quality, but I thought they were amazing. New album is cookie cutter garbage, with some clean vocals thrown in for the ladies.
The new dragonforce album is actually really fun and catchy
>>72994080
I've got this thing on my wrist. I fucking love that band. As other people have pointed out previously though, fuck the haters. Like what you like. Listen to what you enjoy. No shame.
Can't erase this from my phone.
When I listen to this on my headphones in the supermarket while waiting in the line, NOBODY dares to look me in the eyes.
I think they must feel that I could slap the shit out of the old lady that tries to steal my place.
>>72992787
Same here. Rush of blood, Parachutes and X&Y are some of my favourite albums of all time
>>72995337
lmao nice. I saw them live as a part of a christian youth conference when I was 11 lmfao. It was pretty sick tbqh
>>73000586
>>73000607
My man
browsing /mu/
>>72992358
>>72995474
as long as you aren't autistic in comment sections nothing wrong with liking it
>>72992787
That song is a baller, can't stand their other stuff
>>73004827
Jim Steinman is the biggest manchild out there but goddamn is he hilarious. This is a good album tho. The second one is good but can't get into it like this one.
>>72992596
kek
>>72992596
*clap *clap
