Damon is a way WAYYYYYY more talented musician than these faggots, he can bring so many genres and features and blend them together to make something excellent.

Now 21 pilots, i think what they are doing is a bit original, its sort of like a mix of nu metal and pop punk, i dont think anyone realizes that yet. Except they are ultra faggots who dont even use guitars so there is nothing metal or rock about them.

Speaking on my own behalf, I think this album tries way too hard to be something bigger than what it really is, vaguely emotive pop with some rap thrown in. Just listening to the instrumentation and the lyrics and you can tell that Tyler was aiming for some deep, genre-smashing release. To the album's credit, it's very catchy, but in the end it's more or less very surface level music
