I actually like Slipknots first three albums.

Literally every high school senior today has Hybrid Theory in their top 10 albums ever. And no "But it's from 2000!!" does not discredit that statement.

this is gospel is off of too weird to live too rare to die. Also I liked it more than fever because urie's voice really took a spotlight, also, his vocal style on fever was kind of shaky to me, it's hard to explain exactly what I mean. Impossible year though is a serious banger on DoaB

Incubus are good and always have been good, even after the point where most people think they started to suck. They're incredibly talented musicians who really get dogged on too much because of the scene they were a part of back in the early 2000s.
A Crow Left of the Murder is their best album and I swear people are just blinded by nostalgia for Make Yourself.

1. Early Machine Head is okay.
2. Motorhead, High on Fire, and Sleep are rock n roll, not metal.
3. I delete all songs about breakups, self-pity, anger.

5. Black metal is currently the most innovative subgenre.
6. Yasunori Mitsuda, Fukui, Akira Yamakoa don't get enough credit.

The only mainstream grunge band that is close is Alice in Chains. Nirvana had one good album filled with singles, Soundgarden had one good album and a few great singles. Pearl Jam is pretty good, but they went downhill after vs. STP put out consistently good shit for over a decade.

I don't like Scott Weiland's voice and their lyrics seem to be so so. Which is too bad because their songwriting other than that is quite solid and their guitar player plays some good stuff.

Nirvana takes the top spot for me because of this
They have Nevermind, which was rock solid front to back
In Utero, a Steve Albini produced noise rock/punk album,
Bleach, the amateur yet solid bleak alternative metal/punk attempt
And the b-sides, which are all stellar

I really do think it's contrarianism that guides most people's downplaying of Nirvana.
