I saw them play in Knoxville last year and was pumped for the loudness and noise of 3 guitar players, didn't know they were only touring with the 3 band members.

Considering guitarists often times layer the same part over twice in the studio I think 3 guitarists is perfectly reasonable. They just need to keep their parts in place and not blow their load all over each other.

I had the exact same experience with that tour. I saw them before with 3 guitarists and it was amazing but the 3 piece sort of ruined their sound.
