It may be a comforting thought, but I actually find it more helpful when I don't feel superior to disgusting people. Whenever I see something I have in common with someone like Eggman, Chris Chan, Jahans, etc., it makes me feel awful, but it also motivates me to work harder, get out more, exercise, eat better, do more, etc.
