Anything that's just the square album art on a plain shirt, looks terrible 100% of the time and is insultingly lazy.

I also think Mastodon sold coke mirrors with their logo on them.

I got my friend (as a joke) that Young Thug shirt with a shitty Sonic-as-Thug fanart drawing and he claims to get regular compliments from black people when he wears it, so I guess I'm in no position to judge bad merch.

One pet peeve is when people buy bootleg shirts from Redbubble or blogs. Not only do they look like shit 99% of the time (nobody except you thinks your ironic kawaii vaporwave Fiji water MC Ride is funny), they don't support the artist in any way, which I thought was the primary reason for buying merch
