Because it sounds hackneyed and forced now. At the time it was innovative but now it just sounds like DUDE WEED LMAO.

I hate that song because as a paki my parents would play music like that 24/7 in the car. So any classic indain or desi music just reminds me of being stuck in traffic during a hot summer day with a raging headache.
